The programme focuses on development of fishing facilities/ infrastructure along the Coast to maximize socio economic benefits from the sustainable utilization of the living resources under the Blue Economy. Under the programme National Fishing Fleet for the Exclusive Economic Zones (EEZ) will be developed and fishers’ capacity to venture into deep sea developed by procurement of fishing vessels. Facilities to be developed include fishing ports, jetty, fish markets, cold storage stores and auxiliary facilities
